Financial Wellbeing for Women
Skilled, Aware, Resourceful, and Active (SARA) is a free financial well-being course for women to learn, discuss and receive support in a friendly environment.
Connect with like-minded women in a relaxed, informal and supportive environment to learn about things like managing money, Saving, Budgeting and Planning, Services to support you, Debts & Fines, Interest-free Loans, Relationships, and Money, or meeting the costs for your children’s schooling.
This is a wonderful opportunity to provide you with the tools to independently and successfully manage your finances.

Course Structure: Weekly – 10 x 3-hour sessions

Digital Essentials Mobile Phones and Tablets
Starting 8th February 2023
Understand the basics of various areas of technology, including different digital devices, their functionality, and the ways people can use these to connect with others and in the workforce.
These modules will provide you with the skills to use your mobile devices, understand apps and software, navigate the internet on various devices, use email and keep safe online.
We are flexible in our delivery and can arrange our content to suit the needs of the participants. Our classes are small and personalised.
Week One Get to know your phone, Android and iPhone.
Week Two MyGov and Email
Week three Security, Passwords, and Scams
Week four Understanding and using Apps
Week Five Clouds, Backups and free up space on your mobile
Week Six Using the camera on your phone
Starting Wednesday 8th February 1 pm to 3 pm – 6 x 2-hour sessions
Attend one or all modules offered over the six weeks
These classes will be run in a face-to-face classroom setting in Bairnsdale at The Hub, Dalmahoy Street, and online via zoom.
