EAST GIPPSLAND FIRE OPERATIONS PLAN COMMUNITY INFORMATION SESSIONS

The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) wants to share its plans for burning and other fire prevention works with the community.
Community information sessions will be presented in ‘open house' formats in locations across the region to encourage discussion about the draft annual Fire Operations Plan for the region.
The sessions will provide an opportunity to find out what fire prevention works, asset protection and ecological burns are planned for public land, parks, forests and reserves in your neighbourhood over the next three years.
The draft plan will be available for viewing and you can talk to DSE Fire Management staff about the planned works and how you can comment on and have input into those plans.
